The evidence and documented testimony is overwhelming. If you study it, there can be no doubt regarding Obama’s ideological preferences and loyalties writes Jeff Nyquist

By J.R. Nyquist

I have just spent two days with a political researcher from Christchurch, New Zealand. His name is Trevor Loudon and he is the founder and editor of KeyWiki, a Website that lays bare Communist and socialist activities, fronts and personalities.  On KeyWiki.org you can learn about the Democratic Socialists of America, the Committees of Correspondence, and the Communist Party USA. Here you will find background information on such Marxist radicals as Van Jones, Quentin Young and Alice Palmer. All three have been connected to Barack Obama, who certainly did not “rise to prominence from a political vacuum.”

Loudon’s research shows that America’s socialists have been busy. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), for example, have been strongly supporting the Occupy Wall Street Movement along with a second term for Barack Obama. Some progressives boast that the DSA has effectively taken over the Democratic Party. Prominent members of the DSA include, Ed Asner, Noam Chomsky, David Dinkins, and Francis Fox Piven. Their mission has been to revitalize the American Left in an effort to liquidate capitalism. The DSA wants reparations for African Americans, single-payer health care, and living wage laws.

“Our goal as socialists is to abolish private ownership of the means of production,” explained David Green of the DSA National Political Committee. “Our immediate task is to limit the capitalist class’s prerogatives in the workplace….” America under the DSA would resemble the Soviet Union. All businesses would be nationalized. The Party would control the life of every individual. It is not surprising, noted researcher Loudon, that the DSA membership has a noticeable overlap with the Communist Party USA.

Also on the Left, there are the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS) which formed in 1991 when a third of the Communist Party USA broke away. This is a self-described anti-capitalist organization that previously worked with Barack Obama in Chicago through the New Party, which was an electoral alliance “dedicated to electing leftist candidates to office – usually through the Democratic Party.” In December 2008, writing in the British Trotskyist journal Socialist Review, CCDS leader Manning Marble explained why Obama was attractive to Chicago Leftists. Barack Obama, wrote Marble, “has been a community organizer. He has read left literature, including my works, and he understands what socialism is. A lot of people working with him are, indeed, socialists with backgrounds in the Communist Party or as independent Marxists. There are a lot of people like that in Chicago who have worked with him for years….”

The evidence and documented testimony that Loudon presents on KeyWiki is overwhelming. If you study it, there can be no doubt regarding Obama’s ideological preferences and loyalties. Related to this, it is useful to read one-time Communist Party leader Gus Hall’s statement about infiltrating “the liberal wing of the Democratic Party.” Consider, as well, excerpts from the Constitution of the Communist Party USA on the CPUSA  page (page by Loudon – ed.): “With Marxism-Leninism guiding our actions, the Communist Party strives to build the broadest unity against global capitalist imperialism….” Consider also the statement of Charlene Mitchel, the Executive Director of the African-American Commission of the Communist Party USA in 1983, who wrote about the usefulness of a black presidential candidacy: “The thrust of such a candidacy must be to develop the popular electoral base to prevent the Democratic Party from continuing its shift to the right and force a more progressive platform and program in the 1984 campaign.”

The Communist Party’s front organizations include the U.S. Peace Council, the National Lawyers Guild, the Civil Rights Congress, and American Youth for Democracy (among many others). According to Loudon, the key goal of the Communists is to change targeted countries by passing laws that weaken property rights and undermine liberty. Related to this, Loudon thinks Obama advances a socialist agenda. It therefore makes sense that the socialist support him. “At every point in Barack Obama’s career,” says Loudon, “there has been a socialist ready to help.” Loudon then pointed out that Obama got his start in politics from Alice Palmer, who was connected to many Communist Fronts, and who wrote articles for Communist publications. In fact, Palmer was a Soviet sympathizer who attended the 27th Congress of the Communist Party Soviet Union. Why would she help Obama if he was not a like-minded individual?
